About Us
The Animal Doctor Veterinary Hospital, located in the picturesque coastal town of Ventura, California, is seeking a dedicated part-time veterinarian to join our team.
Our Facility
We are proud of our longstanding AAHA accreditation and commitment to exceptional veterinary care. Our state-of-the-art facility includes:
- Advanced Diagnostics: Dental digital radiography, digital radiography (board-certified review), Mindray ultrasound machine, Idexx CBC/Chem/Electrolyte/PT/PTT/T4 machines.
- Surgical Excellence: Anesthetic monitoring with ECG, Doppler, CO2, Oxygen, Vetcorder, Hot Dog warming blankets, IV fluid pumps including syringe pump.
- Comfort and Care: Heated cages, two wet tables for treatments and dental procedures, dedicated surgery room, isolation area, three exam rooms, pharmacy, lab, small kitchen area, and a beautiful outdoor enclosed patio for staff and clients.
Your Role
We are looking for a veterinarian to help us continue growing and delivering top-notch service and medical care. Our practice philosophy is to treat every patient as we would our own loved ones.
Schedule: Monday, Thursday, and Friday, with an experienced veterinarian for collaboration. Monthly staff meetings on Tuesday mornings. Newer graduates with a minimum of 1+ years of experience are welcome.
